I was born in Venezuela and moved to the US at the age of 17 in order to attend college. It wasn’t long before I discovered my two passions: technology and investing. During my time in college, I began dabbling in investing, concentrating primarily on value investing and the teachings of Seth Klarman, Peter Lynch, Ben Graham, and Warren Buffett.
Living in China
In 2008, I moved to Beijing, China (Haidian District) to start a technology company focused on vertical search. In my two years in China, I had the opportunity to recruit and work with amazing people who previously worked at some of the top companies in the country, including Baidu, Alibaba, Qihoo360, Tencent, among others.
Today, I run Bidwise, a media and advertising company based in San Juan, PR.
